33 acre lot for 140 single family homes, 2 apartment complexes for JT Smith Co & commercial site for Todd Construction. Scope of work included, clearing & grubbing, demolition of existing structures, abandonment of well & septic systems, erosion control, earthwork, underground utilities, aggregate bases, flatwork, paving, site lighting, fencing, site furnishings, VC mitigation & landscaping. D&T was able to work with the project team to reduce schedule duration, budget & wet weather risk for the owner by utilizing cement modified street subgrades.

Tigard, Oregon

5-acre lot for 34 housing units for Pulte Group. Previously a single residence dwelling and orchard. The scope of work includes cleanup of contaminated soils, clearing and grubbing, demolition of single-family residence, abandonment of well and septic systems. D&T is tasked with installing over 6,000 linear feet of pipe with depths up to 20 feet in addition to WACO frontage improvements.

10-acre lot for 80+ homes for Chad E Davis Construction. Previously a single resident dwelling with an onsite shop which later than demolished to make way for 80+ homes.

3-acre lot for multifamily housing for JT Smith Companies. Previously a heavily forested vacant lot. The scope of work included clearing and grubbing, stepped and staged footing excavation, export of soils, cement modified subgrades, concrete flatwork, over 5,000 linear feet of pipe, CMP and Chamber Maxx detention systems, meter vaults and building fire risers and dry utilities.

Town Center

Tigard/Sherwood, Oregon

30-acre lot for 150+ housing units for The New Home Company. The project was presented with contaminated soil as this lot was previously a farm. Contaminated soil is often hard to treat and dispose of, which a project like this, contractors tend avoid, but D&T was up for the challenge and succeeded.

18-acre lot for 150+ homes by Taylor Morrison. The lot previously called Sunset Nursery, consisted of clean-up of nursery pots and dirt totaling over 15,000 cubic yards of screened dirt, which was fully operated by remote control.

Dartmouth Apartments (Since renamed “The Overland”):

Tigard, Oregon

A two building podium style multi-use project with first floor retail and parking garage, second floor parking and 219 apartment units, built with Essex General Construction for SKB. The project had complex foundation excavation and shoring as well as significant street improvements.

Sellwood Bridgehead Apartments

Portland, Oregon

Construction of a single 5 story building featuring 119 apartment units with below grade parking & shoring for Essex General Construction. Scope includes demolition of existing warehouse structure, erosion control, mass excavation, cleanup of contaminated soils, shoring support, underground utilities, aggregate bases & finish grading. D&T was able to work with the project team to limit haul, reducing both schedule duration & budget by incorporating a combination of layback & shoring to safely complete the mass excavation for the project.

 

  • Demolition of 17,200 sf building including salvage.

  • PBOT frontage improvements on 3 side of the project.

  • 14,000 cy of mass excavation haul off, contaminated soil haul off, footing excavation & backfill in conjunction with 8,000 sf of soldier pile & lagging shoring installation.

  • Sanitary sewer service.

  • Storm system including basement dry wells & water quality facilities.
